ALFRETON TOWN put in a dominant performance at home to beat Blyth Spartans, taking the Reds to within two points of the play-off places.
An early Adam Lund long throw caused chaos in the Blyth penalty area, with the ball falling kindly to Lewis Salmon to drill a powerful low effort past goalkeeper Daniel Langley from the edge of the box.
