BELPER Town visited a Winterton side who were hoping to prevent a third league defeat in a row.
The opening exchanges were fairly even before Belper increased the pressure on the home team’s goal, eventually taking the lead after 15 minutes with a well-taken goal into the top corner from the edge of the area.
Several frustrating half-chances followed for both teams before the half-time whistle blew.
