■SOUTHALL moved up to third place with a hard fought win against a determined Hartley Wintney side at the 1878 Stadium.
The first half was an evenly fought contest with the stalemate broken by an Anthony O’Connor goal after 25 minutes.
Southall started the second half strongly, but were unable to add to their lead until the 61st minute when, following a mazy run by substitute Tariq al-Sadi, the ball fell to Ryan Hope who smashed the ball past the Hartley Wintney keeper.
