ST ALBANS City leapfrogged their hosts after a fine second-half display, which piled the pressure on Dartford boss Alan Dowson.
The first 45 minutes in Kent was quite a quiet affair, as both sides struggled to get going in front of just 907 supporters.
In fact, the closest anyone came was when Tyrell Miller-Rodney managed to get on the end of Luke Coulson’s freekick in the 35th minute.
However, George Hoddle was alert to clear the goal-bound header off of the Saints’ line.
