SOUTHALL came out on top in a competitive local derby against Uxbridge.
They went ahead after nine minutes thanks to a clever back-heel by Anthony O’Connor.
Uxbridge equalised after 28 minutes when Shaun Prebble netted in a goalline melee after a corner. But Southall were back in front ten minutes later after Anthony O’Connor was scythed down in the penalty area. Leading scorer Jaden Thompson-Brissett stepped up and gave the keeper no chance from the spot.
