■ TWAS two nights before Christmas and Melksham Town dominated their opposition in a onesided encounter.
Paulton never really got out of the blocks and Melksham demonstrated discipline, communication and confidence which proved very hard to play against.
Goals came from all over the pitch, with Robbie James smashing home early, before a long-range free-kick from captain Sam Hendy.
Ben Bament expertly finished soon after before Jaiden Pearce gave a 4-0 half-time lead.
