WIMBORNE breezed past their New Forest neighbours to ensure they go in to the new year in pole position.
Both teams started the game slowly, but it was the Magpies who opened the scoring after 30 minutes as Harry Morgan cut the ball back to Sam Jackson to calmly slot the ball beyond Ross Casey.
Five minutes before the break, Wimborne doubled their lead as Billy Walker fired home after Bashley failed to clear their lines.
