IT WAS FIVE of the best for Wingate & Finchley as they demolished Whitehawk.
The visitors did get back on terms shortly after halftime, scoring directly from a corner after a mix-up in defence, but it didn’t last.
From then on, it was all Blues, with Ruben Carvalho swiftly bagging his hattrick after the break.
His first arrived before the break after a beautiful free-kick from just outside the area snuck through the wall to give Wingate the lead. His second and third were both magnificent finishes. One, a mazy run...
