BEACONSFIELD TOWN ended Merthyr Town’s six-game unbeaten run in a five-goal thriller at Penydarren Park.
It was the visitors’ first win since November and the victory has lifted Beaconsfield out of the relegation zone.
The hosts took the lead 18 minutes in through a free-kick from Alex John, which was struck well finding the bottom right corner from outside the box.
The tide started to turn after the opening goal, as Asher Yearwood grabbed an equaliser which sprung the visitors into life.
