HERNE BAY achieved the double over high-riding Lancing, inching closer to the play-offs.
They had Lancing on the defensive early on, but the home side gradually exercised control with attacking play from the back, Charlie Gibson linking up well with Lukas Franzen-Jones.
Man of the match, keeper Harry Brooks, came to his side’s rescue, closing Lancing down whenever they threatened near goal.
