NEEDHAM Market scored at the start and end of the game to record a narrow victory over struggling Long Eaton.
The league leaders were ahead inside a minute in when Tevan Allen’s right-wing corner fell to Nico Valentine, who set up Dan Morphew for his fourth goal in seven games.
Allen then saw a low shot comfortably held by Ross Durrant in the 13th minute, while Seth Chambers’ tap in was ruled out for offside after Kyle Hammond’s volley rasped the post three minutes later.
