IN front of a 504-strong crowd, bottom club Kempston Rovers upset the apple cart by handing league leaders Bedford Town a shock defeat.
Bedford opened the scoring after 23 minutes through Adam Watkins when Kieran Gauthier’s interception dropped for the Eagles skipper to slot home.
The hosts drew level before the break. Lauric Diakiesse wheeled away in the 42nd minute after pouncing on a rebound from a Rio Da Silva effort.
