ROSS MCNEILLY has left his role of first-team head coach at Dorking Wanderers after eight months at the club.
McNeilly left his role as academy coach at Aldershot Town to join the Wands having just enjoyed an interim spell as first-team manager with the Shots before Tommy Widdrington’s arrival.
McNeilly, who replaced Mark Beard following his appointed as Eastbourne Borough manager, became a popular figure at Meadowbank and was instrumental in the club’s transition to daytime training.
Manager Marc White, whose side beat York City 1-0 in midweek, thanked the former Shots boss for his input since arriving at the Wands.
White commented: “Ross is a fantastic, talented guy who has given the club his full commitment during his stay.
“As with everyone who leaves the Wanderers, we wish him well in the future and he will always remain welcome at Meadowbank.
“I wish him every success in the future.”
