Leatherhead travel for Saturday’s match against Raynes Park Vale looking to bounce back from defeat last time out in the Isthmian League Division One South Central.
Leatherhead, who sit fourth in the league after 28 games, fell to a 2-0 home defeat to Marlow on February 17.
They face a Vale side who picked up a win in their last match, a 1-0 victory against Ashford Town Middlesex, and who sit fifth in the table.
With 50 goals in 28 games so far this season, Vale are scoring more than average in the league with 1.8 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 35 goals at a rate of 1.2 per game.
Leatherhead, meanwhile, are below average scorers, with 1.6 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.7. They have conceded 0.8 goals per game.
The home side are in good form in the Isthmian League Division One South Central, with four wins and a draw from their last six games.
With three wins and a draw over that period, the visitors’ form is worse – they have taken 10 points from 18, compared to Vale’s 13.
