NEWCASTLE Town schooled Kidsgrove on derby day after Jake Avery’s brace left them with heads in their hands.
Kidsgrove broke the deadlock early on after Joe Woolley’s headed cut-back found Aaron Bott who flicked home the opener.
Newcastle quickly hit back after Isaac Graham’s quick feet on the wing allowed him to play in Avery who slotted home a slick equaliser.
Ten minutes before the interval Avery was at it again after Tom Jones’ strike pinged off a post it was Castle’s centreforward who tapped in the second.
