Struggling Lancing face Beckenham Town at Culver Road on Saturday looking to build on a win in their last league outing.
After securing all three points with a 1-4 victory over Three Bridges on February 24, Lancing sit fourth in the Isthmian League Division One South East.
They travel to play a Beckenham side 20th in the standings, who lost in their last match, 3-2 against Herne Bay, on February 17.
With 33 goals in 25 games so far this season, Beckenham are scoring at below the league average rate with 1.3 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 64 goals at a rate of 2.6 per game.
Lancing, meanwhile, are above average scorers, with 1.9 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.7. They have conceded 1.6 goals per game.
The hosts are in mixed form in the Isthmian League Division One South East, with three wins and three losses from their last six games.
With a win and two draws over that period, Town’s form is worse – they have taken five points from 18, compared to Lancing’s nine.
In the last three years, Lancing and Beckenham have played each other on three occasions. Lancing won one of them and Beckenham the other.
Their last meeting was on November 28, when Lancing won 3-2 away.
