Relegation candidates Hadley face a challenge away against high-flying Biggleswade Town at the Carlsberg Stadium on Saturday.
Hadley are 16th in the Southern League Division One – Central table, and have picked up eight wins and two draws in their 23 games to date.
Biggleswade, meanwhile, are second in the standings with 45 points, having won 13 and drawn six of their first 24 matches, and are five points behind table-toppers Bedford Town.
With 30 goals in 23 games so far this season, Hadley are the league’s third-lowest scorers with 1.3 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 41 goals at a rate of 1.8 per game.
Biggleswade, meanwhile, are above average scorers, with 2.1 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.7. They have conceded 1.2 goals per game.
In the last three years, Biggleswade and Hadley have played each other on three occasions. They won one each, and they drew once.
Their last meeting was on November 21, when Biggleswade won 2-0 away.
Town are in reasonable form in the Southern League Division One Central, with three wins and two draws from their last six games.
With two wins and two draws over that period, the away side’s form is worse – they have taken eight points from 18, compared to the hosts’ 11.
Biggleswade’s last match was on February 24, a 4-0 win against Kidlington.
Hadley lost 2-1 against Aylesbury United last time out, also on February 24.
