MEMBERS of Chesterfield FC’s Community Trust are set to vote on a proposal which will bring up to £2 million of new investment to the club.
Brothers Phil and Ashley Kirk already own 40 per cent of the National League leaders but want to up their stake to 75 per cent with the likelihood of the club returning to the EFL next season.
The Community Trust will consider the proposal at the club’s AGM on March 13 at the SMH Group Stadium but it is expected they will give it the green light.
