LEIGHTON Town held their nerve to claim all three points in a five-goal thriller against Hertford Town.
The win moves Leighton above Hertford with two games in hand.
Leighton Town cruised into a 2-0 lead in the first half. Luke Pyman got the opener in the 11th minute after his shot rolled agonisingly through the legs of goalkeeper Will Kiers. The second came ten minutes later as Jake Watkinson headed in at the far post to put Leighton in control.
