JAY Rollins second-half goal was the difference as Worksop beat ten-man Macclesfield in a tense game at Sandy Lane.
The win for Worksop sees them move to within one point of FA Trophy semi-finalists Maccesfield, who sit in sixth place, and three points off the play-off positions with eight games to go.
Macc started quicker of the two teams as Kane Drummond attempted to find John Rooney in the box but the midfielder couldn’t get a touch on it.
