CARSHALTON ATHLETIC edged themselves into the play-off places with a clinical display against relegation-threatened Margate.
Goals from Kwaku Frimpong, Charlie Kennett and Luke Read secured the home-side all three points and a temporary place in the play-off places on goal difference.
Frimpong fired the hosts ahead after cutting inside Tony Stevenson on the edge of the area and curling it past Harry Seaden with the outside of his foot four minutes from the break.
