■ BASHLEY took an impressive stride away from the danger zone with one of their best performances of the season.
Mousehole, on the fringe of the play-offs were outplayed until they mounted a late but fruitless rally.
Bashley took a 27thminute lead when Max Wilcock found himself crowded out in the area, but teed up Jamie Webber for the finish. Callum McOnie’s freekick brought the best out of Bashley keeper Ross Casey, but the home side remained in charge and doubled their lead after 55 minutes when Frankie Monk netted. There were chances at both end...
