DUNSTON fell to a second defeat from 19 games and dropped to third place after Carlton recorded a win at Craik Park.
Dunston took the lead after 14 minutes when the Millers’ goalkeeper Felix Annan spilled the ball and Daniel Brown accidently knocked it into his net.
Carlton levelled when Jude Swailes scored an own goal, accidentally heading into his own net.
After 45 minutes, Dunston were awarded a penalty for a shirt pull and Dale Pearson fired it home to give his side the lead going into the break.
