Cribbs travel to the Recreation Ground for Saturday’s match against Bashley looking to bounce back from defeat last time out in the Southern League Division One South.
Cribbs, who sit third in the league after 32 games, fell to a 4-0 home defeat to Bishop’s Cleeve on Monday.
They face a Bashley side who picked up a win in their last match, a 4-2 victory against Bemerton Heath Harleq., and who sit 15th in the table.
With 38 goals in 28 games so far this season, Bashley are scoring at below the league average rate with 1.4 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 47 goals at a rate of 1.7 per game.
Cribbs, meanwhile, are average scorers, with 1.6 goals per game. They have conceded 1.4 goals per game.
The home side are in reasonable form in the Southern League Division One South, with four wins and two losses from their last six games.
With a win and two draws over that period, the visitors’ form is much worse – they have taken five points from 18, compared to Bashley’s 12.
Over the last two years, Bashley and Cribbs have played each other twice. they drew both of them.
Their last meeting was on January 9, when they played out a 2-2 draw.
