MICKLEOVER must take their place in the play-offs after slipping up against an impressive, rejuvenated Stourbridge side who set the pace from the beginning.
Solihull Moors loanee Kian Ryley proved a constant threat to Mickleover and the 19-year-old soon made his mark, crossing for striker Brendon Daniels to net with a glancing header after nine minutes.
Mickleover should have levelled five minutes later when Tyrell Waite was put in the clear but he fired wildly wide with only Stourbridge goalkeeper Charlie Price to beat.
