BECKENHAM’S survival hopes remained alive after a convincing win over out of in-form Hythe yesterday.
Becks started strongly, and raced into a two-goal lead thanks to a double from Louie Theophanous – the first a volley from close range and the second a clinical finish after a poor clearance from Cannons’ keeper Steve Phillips. But back came Hythe and Aaron Barnes pulled one back, scrambling in from a corner.
