Winterton Rangers are on a poor run ahead of hosting Stockton Town at West Street on Saturday, with just four points collected from their last six games.
Winterton have picked up one win and one draw in their last six Northern Premier League Division One – East games, and face a Stockton side whose last six games have brought three wins and two draws.
With 32 goals in 34 games so far this season, Winterton are the league’s second-lowest scorers with 0.9 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 73 goals at a rate of 2.1 per game.
Stockton, meanwhile, are above average scorers, with 2.0 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.5. They have conceded 0.8 goals per game.
Rangers are bottom of the table after 34 games, of which they have won seven and drawn four, earning 25 points.
Town are 19 places ahead of the home team in top spot, with 21 wins and 10 draws putting them on 73 points.
Winterton’s last match was on April 6, a 3-0 loss against Pontefract Collieries.
Stockton beat Sheffield FC 5-1 last time out, also on April 6.
