■AMAR Purewal was Hebburn’s hat-trick hero away at Grimsby Borough, as the visiting Town trounced their hosts to go ten league games unbeaten.
Purewal started off his three aptly in the third minute. The ball was played to him on the edge of the box and he held off his marker, before rifling a low effort past the goalkeeper.
The forward had to wait until the second half for more scoresheet action. In the 72nd minute, the lethal finisher sprung the offside trap and slotted home.
