GUISELEY’S slim chance of a play-off berth were prolonged with their victory over FC United of Manchester.
The game started slowly, with a few chances during the opening half hour.
Guiseley broke the deadlock on 35 minutes when Reece Kendall scored from an Adam Dawson cross.
The hosts doubled their minutes later through an own goal, when a low powerful cross hit Jan Palinkas and went in.
FC United halved the deficit from the penalty spot, with former Guiseley player Paul Ennis scoring from the spot.
