What was going through Byron Webster’s mind as he stood over the ball knowing Bromley history was just 12 yards away?
“I was relatively calm,” the decisive-kick taker said. “I don’t know why, if I’m honest. It was more afterwards the nerves kicked in for some reason.
“I don’t know if it’s because I saw my parents and kids there in the stands. Nine times out of ten, if you’re 12 yards out and there’s only the keeper in front of you, you’ve got half a chance.
“It was only after I thought, ‘What do I do now?’. And I just stood there like a numpty!”
