Solihull Moors manager Andy Whing said he was gutted for the players and for the supporters who had travelled to Wembley on successive weekends only to see their side beaten on penalties each time.
And he added that he hoped changes ahead of the new campaign would make the team more robust as they face up to another season in the National League following their agonising Promotion Final defeat to Bromley last Sunday.
