Jermaine Francis has signed for National League Barnet, three years after playing for DTFC (now Cannons Wood) in the Essex Alliance.
The Grenada international, 22, joined Chelmsford City from Hashtag United last year and excelled in his only National League South season, scoring 11 from the wing in 50 appearances across all competitions.
He has signed for the Bees on a two-year contract.
Barnet manager Dean Brennan told the club’s website:
“I’m really happy that Jermaine has joined the group. Another exciting player with power, pace and an eye for a goal.
“His work rate is infectious and he can play in several positions.
“His versatility is imperative to us.”
