DANNY PAYNE insists he still has aspirations in management after stepping down as Biggleswade Town boss – just days after steering them to a league title.
Along with co-boss Jimmy Martin, rookie Payne led the Waders to one of their most successful seasons to date as they rallied to the Southern League Division One Central title and the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup, where they bowed out at Solihull Moors.
But now Payne has decided to stand down and let Martin take sole charge of next season’s Step 3 assault.
