Maidstone United have signed Jordan Higgs from National League South rivals Tonbridge Angels.
The midfielder was Tonbridge’s Players’ and Supporters’ Player of the Year and won Goal of the Season award, ironically for a Boxing Day last gasp equaliser against Maidstone.
But after one season at Longmead he’s made the short move down the A26 and becomes Maidstone’s second summer signing after Temi Eweka arrived from Slough Town.
Higgs spoke to Maidstone United’s YouTube channel:
“I’m ambitious. I want to do better than I did last year and that was a big attraction in coming to Maidstone.
“I want to impress and win something this season.”
