Chesham United have signed Ben Goode, Samson Esan and Mitchell Weiss ahead of their first season in National League South.
Last year’s Pitching In Southern Premier South champions have now added five players to their first campaign in Step 2 since 2002/03.
Ben Goode has returned in goal for a third spell. The 30-year-old was the first signing of co-managers James Duncan and Michael Murray in 2018, before departing at the end of the curtained 2020/21 season. He re-appeared as a one-off for the play-off semi-final defeat to Bracknell Town last year but is now back permanently from Wingate & Finchley.
Former Norwich City youngster Samson Esan has been drafted in from Royston Town. The winger has also represented Enfield Town, Maidenhead United, Potters Bar Town and Chelmsford City.
Striker Mitchell Weiss was at St Albans City for four years before his switch to the Generals. He scored 14 last season for the Saints. The front man has also played for Kings Langley and Hemel Hempstead Town.
The trio of signings have followed for Connor Stevens from Barnet and Jack Cawley from AFC Sudbury to Chesham United.
