Fans bid to resurrect Coalville

AN 11th-HOUR bid to save Coalville Town’s first team has been launched by two senior figures at the club.
Long-serving secretary Steve Cartwright and head of junior, girls and ladies Wayne McDermott are leading an application for the Ravens to play Step 6 football in the forthcoming season.
It followed the shock news at the end of last week that chairman Glyn Rennocks had stood down and withdrawn the men’s senior side, resigning from the Southern League Premier Division Central.
