BEN GREENHALGH says he feels ‘privileged’ to lead Margate’s charge back into Step 3.
The 32-year-old has earned hero status at Hartsdown Park after making over 150 appearances and scoring 80 goals for Gate since joining from Tonbridge Angels at the start of the 2021-22 season.
Greenhalgh assisted Reece Prestedge to leading Gate to the Kent Senior Cup last season and carried on coaching duties when former Gillingham boss Mark Stimson took over the hotseat in December.
