Talks continue over Shrimpers’ future

SOUTHEND UNITED fans face an anxious wait over the future of their club with crunch talks set to continue this week.
Southend City Council must agree a deal with current Shrimpers chairman Ron Martin for the revised Fossetts Farm plans before a consortium headed up by Australian businessman Justin Rees can officially take charge.
