CLAPTON FC have pulled out of the Pyramid after rejecting a lateral move to the Southern Counties East Division One – but deny that they have folded.
The 147-year-old club have played the Terence McMillan Stadium in Plaistow following their eviction in 2019 from their long-term Old Spotted Dog Ground home in Forest Gate.
They finished 18th in the Eastern Counties Division One South last season and were due to be moved south along with Clapton Community FC for the coming season.
