JERSEY Bulls have declined to enter the 2024-25 FA Cup because of the “prohibitive” expense of travelling to England for preliminary round replays during August, writes ROBIN JONES.
Bulls secretary John Treleven says the club found that the cost of making such midweek journeys at short notice during the busy holiday season did not stack up.
Last August, the Bulls beat Sittingbourne 2-0 in an extra preliminary round replay after a goalless draw in Jersey, but went down 1-0 at Knaphill in a preliminary round replay after a 1-1 draw at Springfield.
