A BUMPER crowd of nearly 1,500 enjoyed an enthralling battle at The Lamb as Andy Peaks’ National League newcomers welcomed the Saddlers in a fast-paced test.
The sale of midfielder Jamie Jellis to Tamworth’s midlands neighbours in January 2024 had set up the pre-season fixture and it did not disappoint fans of either side right to the final whistle.
