OVER the last 12 months, a number of clubs have either resigned from their league or folded because they could no longer afford to play at their allotted level.
Some say the NLS has created the problem by encouraging clubs to chase a dream they cannot afford. I disagree. After all, it’s easy to avoid promotion – you cut the wage bill in February.
