A THREE-GOAL first half blitz steered Stratford to an opening day victory over their East Anglian visitors.
Callum Ebanks netted the seventh minute opener, slotting home from the edge of the area after a Tom Solanke pass had split the defence.
It was Ebanks who doubled the lead on 14 minutes, nipping in to turn home an Owen James cross.
Leiston had chances themselves with Jamar Loza missing out either side of Ebanks’ double when clean through, Bards keeper Callum Smith denying him each time.
