SHEPPEY United edged out Three Bridges in what was a messy game between two sides who couldn’t get any rhythm going.
Bridges took a 26thminute lead through Reece Hallard and went in at the break 1-0 up. However, Sheppey were the better team in the second-half and deservedly took home all three points from the opening day.
That was despite playing the last 25 minutes with 10 men after Harry Hogben was sent-off for a stamp on Bridges’ goalkeeper Luke Glover.
