Dockers hail new hero in Bantick

A HAT-TRICK and a goal of the season entry – debuts don’t get much better for Tilbury’s Sam Bantick.
The former Hashtag United and Grays Athletic frontman scored three goals, including a sensational strike from inside his own half, to help his new club dispatch of Buckhurst Hill in a 4-1 FA Cup rout last Saturday.
During the week, the 32-year-old can be found running his sweet shop, aptly named ‘Sam’s Sweets ‘n Shakes’, but last Saturday he swapped pick ‘n’ mix for cup hat-tricks.
