SAM MORGAN insists “it was the right time to move on” after leaving Sutton Common Rovers – just one game into the new season.
Morgan opted to step down at the Surrey club just hours after the Isthmian South Central side’s FA Cup 3-1 exit at South Park last Saturday.
And while explaining that he was seeking a new challenge, the boss acknowledged the timing of his resignation was exceptional having prepared the team throughout the summer.
