THERE was disappoint- for the home fans ment at the vanEupen Arena as Congleton came away with victory despite moments of inspiration for the Motors.
The visitors opened the scoring with a beauty of a free-kick as George Nugent’s slip resulted in a foul. The set piece was placed into the top corner by Max McCarthy.
Following the break, the visitors came out swinging and wasted no time extending their lead. McCarthy doubled his tally turning in a low cross to the bottom corner.
