■ THIS cup-tie was abandoned after 67 minutes played due to a serious knee injury to Jack Thorne of Exmouth Town.
Exmouth were cruising to victory having opened the scoring in the 12th minute when an Ollie Knowles freekick was deflected in by the wall.
They doubled their lead in the 38th minute when Thorne made space and his pin point cross was headed home by Tom Bath.
In the 54th minute, a strike from the edge of the box by Aarron Denny seemed to have secured victory before the unfortunate injury to Thorne, a dislocated knee, a pure accident.
