■ ANSTEY booked their place in the next round with a hard-fought victory at league rivals Lye Town.
The only goal of the game came after 17 minutes when a well-worked effort saw the ball switched from the left to the right flank where Kyle Tomlin whipped in a cross which Henry Bestwick managed to steer beyond keeper Matt Hill and over the line.
Chances proved few and far between although Lye did squander a later opportunity to draw level when Alfie Steward opted to fire over the target from a free-kick when it looked as the better option was to cross into the area....
