■ TWO first-half goals for East Grinstead Town was enough to secure a hard fought victory.
Croydon started brightly and created a couple of early chances.
Grinstead grew into the game and went ahead after 31 minutes. A lovely move down the left ended with Omar Folkes crossing to Camron Lawson who fired into the roof of the net.
Three minutes before half-time, they doubled the lead. A Charlie Harris free-kick was diverted into the path of Matt Weaire who powered home a close range header.
